  Just came back this afternoon with our guide Istavan with a total of 11 Sturgeon! He was an amazing guide who was very respectable, knowledgable and of course entertaining, some of the best money ever spent here in BC while I'm out working here was certainly with Great River Fishing adventures and I couldn't press people enough to pick them to go catch a whopping monster!

  My partner and I were his only charges and while the day started out relatively slow, by noon the hits were coming. We landed 3 sturgeon, one being a 71” beauty. Istvan guided us and the fish into shallow water for photos that will help us remember our trip of a lifetime.

  Guide did his best to put us on fish. Caught one pretty early in the half day (4ft) and one right at the buzzer (5'9") so we both got to fight the biggest fish we've ever caught. Saw a bunch jump around us throughout the day but from the others we were in contact on the radio sounded like a slower day for most. Will be back again as I want to land a true monster! Only reason to knock off a star is the booking process was slow to respond but almost got back up to 5 stars the moment I set the hook!

  We had a fantastic experience this weekend with Great River Fishing Adventures on the Fraser River, near Mission, BC. Our guide Istvan was exceptional and has an extensive knowledge of everything fish – conditions, locations, bait, care and handling – the whole deal. This is a guy who is fishing 200 days of the year and when not guiding for work is (you guessed it) out fishing! What set this guided trip apart from others is the expertise that our guide was willing to share, the deep respect he holds for the fish and the local waters, and his genuine enthusiasm for ensuring that we had a GREAT time on the river.

  My wife and I had a great time fly fishing for Pink Salmon. Great River Fishing is excellent. Rick is really organized and Chad is an excellent guide. The river and scenery is beautiful and the fish plentiful.

  Wow - where to begin!!! Yesterday I was part of a group of 4 fishing for Sturgeon on the Fraser River guided by Dean and what an experience of a life time. Dean's knowledge, professional demeanor and hospitality was absolutely TOP CLASS!!! Both Dean and Alyssa kept our interest and fishing experience lively the entire day. Dean guided our group to successfully catching and landing 9 Sturgeon, including one over 10 feet long weighing approximately 650 lbs!!! I have several pictures and memories of my best fishing trip ever!!! l will be recommending Dean and his team at Great River Fishing Adventures to my family, friends and colleagues and do plan to go back again soon....
