  I bought a bed for my son 12 weeks ago and it is still not here. When we initially purchased the bed we were told it would be 6-8 weeks. After 9 weeks I went in to find out what was going on. I was told "next week." Two weeks later, still no bed and no contact to let me know what was happening so I went in again and was told next week again and that they would call me Tuesday. It now Wednesday and I'm being told tomorrow. There has been a complete lack of communication on their part. I understand that things happen and there can be delays but a big part of customer service is communication which this company is sorely lacking.

  The owners are local folks that truly care about community relationships. Owners and staff just know how to make you feel like you're important. Since my first visit, they've made me feel like I'm part of their "family"! I don't like being pressured by annoying sales people who try to sell you something just to sell something even if it's not what you're looking for. I tell you right now, that's not the case at Grand Pappy's. The knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff have listened to my needs and helped me find exactly what I was looking for without pressuring me. Like many people, I like getting a deal especially when you spend thousands of dollars. For that reason, i have a tendency to shop around, compare prices and quality, etc. Now knowing that I'm a very happy customer at Grand Pappy's, it should tell you that after doing my homework that's where I bought.

  I have lived in many places in BC and bought furniture in pretty much every of those cities. To this day, I can say that Grand Pappy's has been the best store I've shopped at.

  We had to unexpectedly buy a new fridge and I went price comparing all over town and Grand Pappy's had the best price and fastest delivery time. The salesman was knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy and the delivery people were so careful and helpful. We live in an old house with narrow doors and they took away the old fridge and brought in the new one with no issues. As my 3 year old said in the store, "We should buy a fridge here mom, the man is nice and they have toys to play with." Thanks again for the wonderful experience.

  Another excellent experience at this family run furniture and appliance store. Stopped by looking for a new vacuum cleaner and was immediately greeted by a variety of different staff. My family and I recieved excellent advice from the appliance department and left with a new vacuum that meets out needs. Top notch Chilliwack business. Thank you!

  This has been the best experience I've had so far and I can't see any reasons why I should shop elsewhere!! I should add that the delivery staff were fantastic. They were very professional, careful with the furniture as well as were cautious not to damage anything inside my place.
